This is just a warning to all: If you receive a phone call from a man named Al Lazrus promising you this great job opportunity, hang up immediately. If you like an office where you feel stressed out all day becuase one persone is always swamped even though you cover most of her work, go for it otherwise steer clear. This man will promise you room to grow, and there is no where to go in this little hole in the wall they call an office. They offer you a shitty salary but state that the benefits make up for it, which they don't and you don't even receive benefits unless you are on top of them constantly and he doesnt give them to you until you are there for 3 months, you will also be told you are going to receive a 401K, yeah that doesnt happen either, unless you put in enough time and if you kiss ass and if you bug them about adding you, and this he can only do twice a year they state, and he is so cheap he probably doesnt match the time you have already put in. This is a very secrative office and they are sneaky and go behind everyone's back and talk about them. Not just the people who work in the office either, they talk bad about their loan officers, loan agents, processors, other attorneys, and even about their bank, their employees and their clients. They have no regard for human beings and the adults that work here are more childish than the younger ones.
Once you take the job they don't offer you proper training and if you do anything wrong you are repremanded right away. However they never let you know when you do anything good that you are an assett to the company. You will have to hear the phones ring all day because the 2 main bosses families call all day long... And you will have to take on their work on top of your own and if you dare go on the internet you will be fired. Oh you are offered a 45 minute lunch break but looked down upon heavily if you actually leave the office to have one, they want you to sit in the office and work while you eat.
All the hard woork and effort you put in to help them is never appreciated and they have no regard for the fact of maybe talking to you before they fire you for some reason they will make up and when you have a good response they will try and make it about something else. There is no ethical backbone in this company, if you can even call it a company. As for Aaron he never talks to anyone if there is a problem, and his main person there Sharon well if she doesnt like you, you will be fired make no mistake about that. You are not allowed to even play solitare online at work during your lunch break, they told me they fired a girl on the spot for this. They want you to work and not stop and if you don't have work pretend to do work. Don't worry about what everyone else is doing because no matter what they will get away with it and you won't.
It is just not a good enviornment to work in, you feel as if you are a child in high school all over again. You have to constantly watch your back and not talk to anyone because you never know who you can trust there. I have never been so miserable as in the time that I worked at this office. Oh and they don't let you update your resume and post it online, or you will be called into the office. You are basically in prison and have no rights.
I would just beware if you want to work here, and if you are looking for a job that you can be comfortable and happy in walk the other way! Aaron does not care about his CitiMortgage loand becasue even when he is in the office he hardly ever takes phone calls, he avoids every situation he can. He is a coward. Wendy will complain to the point that you will wish you were hard of hearing and Sharon well I couldn't even fit it on this page... It is just not worth working somewhere where you are never appreciated and who have no ethical morals. BEWARE: The Law Office of Aaron Katsman.
