I am reporting the actions of a company that I have found (too late, sadly) has many other victims of fraud, like me. I was ordering a set of dvd's for my parents, as a gift, and although it was over a hundred dollars, I felt like it was not too much to pay for the hard-to-find dvd's.
I usually use my credit card to make online purchases, because it is easier to cancel the order if something goes wrong. Unfortunately, I did not do that this time. I made the order with my bank card. I never thought that the site was fraudulent, for it was one of the sponsored web-sites on the search engine that I used.
Then, when two weeks had gone by, I began to wonder why I had heard nothing about my order. I wrote them an email, waited 48 hours (for the site said to allow that much time to go by before expecting a reply) and then I wrote again. After again having no response, I realized that something was very wrong. I typed the name of the company into my search engine, and found, much to my dismay, that the site had many complaints, similar to mine.
It is not right for a company such as this to get away with stealing money from unsuspecting people and we should be able to get our money back, somehow. $117.72 is not a lot of money to some people, but it is to me, and I would like the company to pay for what it has done.
