I attende HCI in March were I attended their first LPN program. There I was two months into the program and that's when all the problems appeared. The class was thrown together at the last minute. Staff checks were bouncing. The DON of the program later quit because he did not want to lose his license as a RN running the program. We were also told that we could not receive lectures because it was not in the curriculum and the teachers that were hired were quitting becacuse they seen how unorganized the program was. We called the board of nursing several times to file a complaint and we were told that the school might be closing. To top it off the owner himself along with some other top executive personally came to our class to reassure us that everything would ok and then he also convinced us to switch our loans to a private lending company were we would allegedly save money which at the time I didn't think nothing of it. But rumor has it that he was allegedly a private investor in the program. That's why the school was shut down by the feds. Along with us complaining to the board of nursing I am writing all this to say that I am looking to further my nursing career but am unable to get my official transcripts because all the paper work was seizd by the feds. Does anybody know how I can get that paper work and also please everybody stay away from those technical schools. They are all ripoffs.
