I refinanced my home back in April. My mortgage broker received my payoff and we completed the closing. A month later I receive a letter and a phone call stating I owe 1 more payment and $296 in late charges. The 1 payment represents a deferrment that we never received and the late charges for each month they are claiming, were paid on time including when they bought my loan and the payment was delayed.
We have been in dispute since May. I have received a phone call every couple weeks since this whole thing started and everytime they ask me when I will make my payment, I tell them we are disputing this amount and then they say ok.
Today, I received a demand letter saying I could lose my house! I can't get anyone at the LOan Servicing Center to help me. What can I do???
