Saw a charge on my online banking statement that I did not recognize. I called the number (884334096) that appeared with the entry 'National Plat.' and as mentioned in numerous other consumer complaintss was connected with an automatic system where no live person could be contacted.
If you attempt to speak with a customer service rep you get a recording that repeats 'Thanks for continuing to hold, you call is important to us'. I pressed the key for 'Information about my account' and the recording said I applied for an account with them and agreed to the Terms and Conditions even though I never gave any information about anything
