A huge number of reports written about Steve Olschwanger... All appear to be true. While he emphatically insists he is the victim of all the people in his life, i.E. His children, his past friends, his business associates, his ex wife's alcoholism, what follows this man is a long trail of scams, cons, stories of poverty, hardship and illness, all intended to take peoples money and prey on their sympathies. He posts himself on JDate.com, a Jewish dating site, but its not to date, its to find more people to con for business. A truly ruthless soul, who takes no prisoners and can "lie in such a convincing way, that until one has observed the number of bad checks he passes, the number of stories he spins, the number of people he has conned out of money, one can almost feel sorry for him. Dont. The most recent report written on Oct 22 on this site, posted by an unfortunate soul who is trying her best to make the public aware of his cons, through close scrutiny, appears to be all factual. Unfortunately, she uses the name Steven Mark Olschwanger instead of just Steve Olschwanger, and they are not all put together in one file. Hard to believe that anyone who can cry so often of being the victim, claims to be a religious person trying to survive, and yet, leaves behind him a wake of virtually everyone he has had money dealings with, being frustrated and ultimately conned out of their money. I was preyed upon as well, even to the point of writing rebuttals to the letters posted here, where I proclaimed him to be an honest person of integrity. I was conned as well, and now a full year has gone by with NO repayment of any of the money. All I got was a bounced check and more stories of hardship.
Steven Olschwanger has passed a score of bad checks, all written as he himself claims to "Buy extra time". He will never repay a loan unless pushed against a wall, and still, the checks always come from accounts that have "insufficient funds", at which point he will claim he just "doesnt know why the check didnt clear. He will insist time and time again that "you will absolutely get your money back", but never, ever, sends it.instead, when he knows you are absolutely at the end of your rope with his stories, he will invent some crazy event, tie it to you, so he can justify not repaying.
Steve Olschwanger uses no conscience in who he takes from, and claims all the while to be a man who worships the Lord and goes to church. Its absolutely a ruse. He does in fact, go to church, but it appears to be a distraction of who he really is.
He is in fact, a person who has alienated virtually everyone he comes in contact with, including all 3 of his children, who want nothing to do with him, were left unsupported for years, and hence he now claims that he is always in danger of going to jail for not paying child support, and that the Texas authorities are always "on their way" to arrest him and put him in jail, he cant answer a knock on his door as hes sure they are there to arrest him, and hes just "desparate" for money again, cant pay his rent, has no money for essential medication, and his lights are being turned off. YET, he has a RADIO show every Sat on WWNN in Boca Raton! How does he have to money to pay for a radio show when he cant pay his own light bill? From the money he cons out of good sympathetic people. Be careful of how he preys on your sympathies. He claims to be ill and often hospitalized. Read the report written by Herman on Oct 22 on this site carefully. This person is incredibly accurate in her portrayal of him. He will insist to you that she is a "crazy lunatic" who has stalked him for 10 years. What it appears, is that she was his biggest victim who lost a huge amount of money in her involvement with him. If you have any financial dealings whatsoever with him, you will Never be paid, and he will have a myriad of excuses as to why he has no money. I am forced to file suit in civil court against him to get money paid back that he always insisted will be paid but never has. Perhaps, his many victims should unite to bring this con artist to justice.
