Although they once admitted it, but lately have denied it, Portfolio Associates bought this 'debt' from another collection agency whom I'd persuaded I did not owe it. It is for services I received from aTreatment Center in 2004 which were completely covered by my insurance. The first collection agency stopped trying to collect when I furnished them with this information. Portfolio Recovery Associates contiues to press the case even though they cannnot possibly have any evidence that I was ever even at the
Treatment Center which went out of business shortly after my stay there.
