Charged my account 149.95 2 weeks after I filled out an on-line app for a separate company! Pennsylvania Pennsylvania

3 weeks ago I filled out an on-line application for Cash-in-1hour to see if I could get a $1500 loan to get my car repaired.

2 weeks after I filled out the application, I was checking my bank account throught the automated telephone service and found that 149.95 had be deducted through an ACH transaction.

I called my bank and asked them who the Merchant was. They informed me it was "USA Credit Services". I said I didn't know anyone with Usa Credit nor did I authorize the ACH, and had them file a dispute.

I managed to locate a number for the "USA Credit Services" and talked to a couple people. Upon speaking with the company, and informing them I did not want a credit card that I could only use toward "thier" on-line catalague. They tried to convince me that having a $7500 credit line would look great on my credit file. I asked them why I would need such an extensive amount of credit if what I needed wasn't available, such as parts for my '95 4.6L V8 Thunderbird. Thier response was that I could request what I needed.

Why would I go through the trouble of requesting things that I knew most others wouldn not need to buy? Why would the company buy things to sell on thier website or catalogue, when I was more than likely the only one who would need them? Seemed like a loss of profits to me. Again, I declined and asked that the amount charged be returned.

The person on the other end said that I had accepted the terms and conditions, therefore they were not going to refund my money. I replied that I had indeed NOT filled out thier online application and that they had somehow gotten my info from somewhere else. I said I had filled out an app for Cash-in-1hour, NOT an app for USA Credit. Therefore the terms and conditions were different. They finally agreed to refund my money, minus $35 for an application fee. I so no-way-in-hell. I want ALL of my money back since I did NOT authorize the ACH debit on my account. After arguing a little more, I eventually received all 149.95 within the next week.

My advice to anyone who reads this in its entirity, DO NOT fill out any offers "online" that offer cash advances and credit lines or ANYTHING that requires a Social Security Number, or bank account number unless YOU KNOW AND TRUST the company.
