I started with StartupEssentials in the beginning of 2007. They hoaxed me into believing I was one of the "special few" to do this, and then once I was transfered to someone else, they said they had to decide if I was determined enough and would work hard enough. They assigned me a "coach", whom after about the 2nd call, stopped answering my calls. Never returned them.
Anyway, I agreed to the contract, under the understanding that they would be there 24/7 to help me with any problems or questions, also with the understanding that I was almost guaranteed to make money on this within the first month. I did their stupid notebook thing, did all the online bullcrap, the classes, and when I finished, and "graduated" from their program, I tried to access the website they gave me to start my website and a security warning came up. It said not to enter the website!!!
So... I couldn't start my website. I tried calling them, seriously about 5 times a day for a month, sent them emails, and never got any assistance. When I did finally get customer service, I complained how I could never get any help from them, how I couldn't get onto the website to start MY website, and how I was pissed I was still getting charged 109.99/month for their services that I WAS NO GETTING!!!
Seriously, I hope there enough lawsuits against them that they go under and we can all get our money back. We are all just hard working people who want the best out of our life. They made it sound like if I signed on with them, all my wildest dreams would come true. What a joke. Luckily I declined the labtop off with the contract. I am more than willing to get these guys, and take them down for all their worth.
You just don't do that to people.
Oh, also, they said that they only got a small percentage of what I made in profit, so if my business wasn't doing well, they were always there to help, otherwise they didn't make any money. I still, to this day, have not heard back from them, yet the 109.99 still comes AUTOMATICALLY out of my checking. I am definetely going to put a stop payment on it, switch accouts, but in the end, aren't I just going to see a bill from collections, which will actually be more that what I owe now??? Please, someone help me. I am a honest, hard-working woman and all I want is some Justice. They shouldn't be able to do this to people. It is one of the lamest, gayest, manipulative scams I have seen.
If you have any ideas or suggestions about how I can avoid paying anymore to this company, please let me know.
I am more than willing to help with any lawsuit against this company!!!
