Rip Off that is what the company did I haven't even taken my Exchange 2000 classes and I wrote a letter for a refund but no response fraudulent ripoff business

When i first heard of Ameritrian by some friends, radio, and the internet. I went to another school before Ameritrain for my MCSE and they could not teach me the class because they didn't have someone that could explain the material in English. So i looked around for more schools to go to that wasn't so expensive like Ameritrain.

Well i decided to check out Ameritrain and i talked to Amy Curtis, which is or was a Sales Representative. Amy told me the price of the MCSE class and after we talked about how the great Ameritrain can train, things like Hands On training, they don't allow the MCSE books in the class because of how much hands on labs you do, so i thought it was a good school.

I took the placement test which i failed, and then Amy told me i could take it again the next day. She helped me out by emailing me the Networking Evaluation, which i studied and went in the following day and passed by 1 point. Well she said you can take the class now, knowing i would not do well, because i didn't know how difficult MCSE was going to be.

Well i paid for MCSE and Exchange 2000 which was $8,300.00 and started school. 3/4 into the course the instructor which had 5 years with experience with Microsoft along with the Cert was told to teach another class and we ended up getting a inexperienced instructor with 6 months experience with MCSE.

That is one of the reasons why i went to the school because Ameritrain said and advertised that their instructors were indeed very experienced. So by the end of the course i didn't feel like i learned very much because first of all the first instructor was going way to fast but knew his stuff, well when the new instructor came in he didn't know how to or make the labs work so that the students could actually learn what the hell is going on. After that i wanted to retake the class, which they guaranteed at least once.

I scheduled for a class after my class ended on March 16. The next class schedule was on June 15th for retaking the MCS. I had to miss the first day so i went in on June 18th, the next class was canceled because the air conditioning was broken.

I didn't really mind because i wanted to start in August because i wanted to take a vacation with family. Amy Curtis told me it was the Air conditioning. And remember i didn't even have the Microsoft Exchange 2000 even scheduled at this time, so i decided to drop the Exchange 2000 for a CCNA class instead, because i didn't see a good market for the Exchange all of the jobs i have been looking at required to have that so that was my decision.

I sent a letter to Steven H. Gouveia, for a refund on the exchange class on July 18 and i am still waiting for a response from Ameritrian which seems impossible to get now, now that other people are experiencing the same thing.

Anyways i was scheduled for class on August 29 and a week before i was about to go to i went to the web site to get a contact number and that's when i read that Ameritrain in Atlanta, Georgia, Tyson's Corner, Virginia, and Columbia, Maryland i was shocked.

I called April at the Virginia Department of Education and she told me everything which most of it surprised me. That a respectable company well in the beginning would do such a thing to just leave like that.

I can't believe that there isn't something our government in the state or federal level isn't doing anything about it yet. There should be a law protecting consumers for this kind of behavior.

And what happens when they want to go bankrupt, we the people cannot get our money back, if there isn't a law for this act of behavior then they at least shouldn't be allowed to file for bankruptcy.

I am going to do the best of that i can to put an end to this not just with Ameritrian but to all practices that act this way. They will get theirs no matter how long it may take. This is bullshit and we need to take action.
