Disappeared with my precious 10 videotapes and $230 ripoff

At their website I placed an order to have 10 Hi-8 videotapes converted to both a DVD and for an extra fee, a data-DVD, on May 17. They sent a postage paid return envelope, and stick-on labels with directions on how they wanted the videotapes returned.

They also sent a bill for a grand total of $230.35 (Tape to DVD $79.50 plus Extra Data-DVD service of $119.90), that I paid by credit card. I mailed everything the next day, saw that my credit card had been charged for $230.35 on May 18.

On May 31 I received an email with the Subject line: "Video Silo Order Status Update - Your Tapes Have Arrived". The content saying "Your DVDs are currently in production! Order ID: 271152. Current processing time is 5 business days. Please note Data-DVDs may delay your order by 1-2 days. Contact customer service if you have any questions".

It is now 2 months and I've emailed their Support E-mail ([email protected]) 5 times. No answer. I've called the 3 phone numbers listed at their website. National phone number 800-609-9193, the Chicago number 312-242-3630, and San Jose 408-850-9658. No one answers at these numbers and I've left voicemails 3 times.

At this point, all I want is either a response from them, or return of my tapes with full refund.
