Non cancellable agreement a rip off

This company is a rip off!!! Refused to cancel my contract when their equipment didn't work as promised. Sued me in a New York Court and filed a judgment against me for $1800. Told me if I gave them $2800 they would release the judgement. 2 months after I gave them the pay-off money they still havn't released the judgement!!!
