In checking my credit card sttement today, I found a charge of $349.99 from IP-RXCONNECT.com. Since I always buy my prescriptions from my local pharmacy, I was confused.
So I called the number listed for the company and got an "answer only" message. It said if I wanted to reach them, I had to contact their web site.
At their web site, they wanted my credit card number. Noticing that they were not a secure site, I called my credit card company.
Guess what? IP-RXCONNECT.com was on their "Fraud List". My credit card has been cancelled and I will be receiving a new number.
How did this company get my number? I have no idea. I have always been very careful.
So beware, and check your statements!
