Portfolio Recovery Associates have been harassing me for years. They finally ended up suing me. They were ordered to provide proof that I owed debt as I have never had a Citibank Credit Card. Never did. Went back to court and judges had changed so I ended up filing a Request to Produce asking for the specifics of the debt, i.E. Credit card signed application, credit card number etc. They have not responded to that. Trial is set for mid-July and if they keep this up I am hoping to get it dismissed.
In the meantime I have been doing research on SOL in Florida and other information regarding Portfolio and it appear they have been doing this type of intimidation all over the country!
