Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

We signed up for a one time sample. The following month we recieved another bottle and my husband did not take the first bottle because after a couple of days the product made him sick. Then we realized that we have been charged 59.95 for the supplement.

I called the companies customer service department and they stated that they needed to talk to my husband in order to cancel the shippings because it was his card that was used. I called back when he was home he gave them all the information that was asked for and we were directed to send back the bottle and we would recieve a refund. I mailed the bottle back from a United States Post Office, in the box that I had recieved it from, to the return address on the label, and paying the weighed postage which was the same as was needed for it to be sent to me.

Thinking the matter closed, I moved, changed my address and went on about our lives. Not having access to a computer for a few months I didn't realize that all was not settled.

I have been being charged for 5 additional months and never recieved a refund, I also have never recieved another bottle of the supplement, so I am paying 59.95 for something that I am not recieving.

When I called the customer service line they inform me that our cancellation was never put on their computer, the lady we had spoken to did not make any notes to our account. I was also informed that they do not have the ability to refund or make any aggreement to refund because they simply do customer service for the company.

I asked to speak to a supervisor who basically told me the same thing, they had no authorization to do anything, they didn't see where we had made a phone call, returned a product, nor do they know why I am not recieving the shipments any longer. At the same time they cannot do anything but obviously answer the phone.

The only way you can communicate with the people that supposedly have the authority to do anything about these issues is by email, they don't have a direct phone number. The only people you can call are the people who can't do anything.

They have now charged my account for $359.70 for a product that I have not recieved or have returned to the company, but that isn't illegal withdrawl because the people in customer service don't note the computer when a customer calls, therefore they have no record of our wanting to cancel the shipments that we have not recieved.

This company is a scam. I have purchased things online before that I later returned and have had all my money returned to me when I sent the product back, one company even refunded my money because I wasn't happy but didn't require that I send it back, hopeing that I would change my mind. I have had my money returned to me no problems, and this is what I expected when I made my initial phone call to the customer service department. I know that they have the capability to return my money to me, but they seem to be unwilling and hiding behind a lot of smoke and mirrors.

I would suggest never giving these people your bank or credit card number as they obviously feel that gives them the right to withdrawl funds for products and services that they do not give.

I would also suggest to never give out a number for a free sample, obviously the moral structure of some of these companies is corrupt and unfortunately while there are companies that stand by their word you never know when your going to encounter one such as PureMeds.com that isn't trustworthy or willing to use fair buisness practices.
