In ordering a Gumby's Pizza Online, I had to sign up with Campus Foods. When I was almost done ordering at Campus Foods, I agreed to a box that asked if I wanted a $10 dollar coupon.
After agreeing, I went back to my inbox to confirm my signup and order with Campusfoods. I also had an email from Reservation Rewards, who I had not signed up with. I had been given an automatic account by them, complete with the address and card account number I'd given Campusfoods. I deleted the email from my inbox after looking at their website and not remembering having signed up for it, no longer interested in the $10 coupon.
Today I looked at my bank statement and found out that Reservation Rewards had charged me $10, incurring a $25 overdraft fee. I went back to the first email they sent me, still in my trash. At the bottom, they tell me that their service costs $10 dollars a month. I should have read the fine print.
