My parents were talked into this investment by a local broker. He said he had a lot of his personal money interested and thought it woulds be real good for them. My dad and mother cashed in all their CD's and life insurance policies and invested over $262,000.00. They never received any checks from Resort Holdings.
When they would complain to their broker he would send them a $500.00 personal check. This seem to satisfy them for a while. When I found out about it, it was too late.
They have tried to contact the company with no results. They talked to their broker and he would tell them that they could cash in their investment taking a 10% penaty, but they had to wait. That other investors were ahead of them. This was my parents life saving. Any comments or suggestions as how to recover please advise
