Just like the others on 4/13/07 at 1633 broadway at commerce bank, a guy asked for directions to get to the Lincoln Tunnel, then tells me he is a fashion designer for Giorgio Armani and has been in city for 10 days and has all of this free stuff, that he does not want to that back to Italy as not to pay taxes on it.
Now this guy was clean cut, had on a very nice suit, clothes looked good, he spoke with an Italian accent, and looked like an honest guy, so he tells me he has a rental car, and I'm in the car by now. Shows me a $935 bill from Hertz and just wants some money as not to have to put it all on the rental costs and wants to by her wife and kid a gift, pulls out his cell phone and shows me the baby, even shows me a handful of cash to show me he is not broke, now he shows me some Giorgio Armani bags that looked real, and make the pitch
I'll give you 2 for free just help me out. Shows me 1 jacket and says it is nexts years model and will sell for $1,100 and then shows me another jackets and says this one sells for $900, shows me a womans jackets suede and brown, now all of these jackets look very good and look expensive!
Then he tells me i'll sell you all 4 for half price which is $600, i say no can do! Then he like well how much can you do and i'm like 60 on me and thats it, he like can you go get some money and i'm like sure, so he like what can you get and i'm like $100, and he like OK.
But during this time, he still trying to rasie the price for all coats to like $200 and i'm like no way, can't do it. So I end up getting the 1 coat for $140 and he like I'll try to find someone else to help me out. And here it is I really though I made a deal!
These guys look good and look like pros, I guess what got me is I'll give you 2 for free just help me out and I didn't even get the 2 free coats, oh and the car was a SUV, something like a Lexus
