This company called my husband and tried selling him stuff he said he had to speak to his wife about anything. He never gave them any iformation as far as his account.
I noticed on the bank statement today that there was a charge for 149 dollars. We did receive a mailing and it said to cancel before 4/9/07.
Its only 4/5/07. The check that showed up on the account said pay to the order of: florida direct 3993 tyrone blvd ste 608-149 st petersburg fl, 33709.
It was made out for 149 and it says for bank iquiries or verbal verification call 8003530354. I tried emailing them according to website email address and it came back address unknown.
I see that im not the only one that has been affected by this. Just upsets me to know they have the capabilities to get access to my bank account when i never gave them any information regarding it and neither did my husband. I will be calling them tomorrow to get this taken care of.
For all others steer clear of this company. It is complete fraud what they are doing. Also my husband is a junior and they don't have that listed on this check and do not have our address spelled correctly.
It is also for 800.00 in airfare rebate checks and 2 for 1 cruise specials.
I tried calling the number but its 4 am here so i have to call in the morning. At the closing of the letter it says if we have questions call our call center at 866-558-4013. I hope this email helps to prevent further cases.
