On Nov. 29th I received a contract and retainer agreement from Kevin Sianez after speaking with him several times. I needed him to do an employment check on my ex husband who had been fired from his job and was delinquent in child support and medical bills totaling $18,000. I was concurrently working with the child support agency in my state of Ohio. My ex husband who lives in Arizona had filed bankruptcy back in 2002 and according to the agency and my attorney until the bankruptcy was discharged I could collect current child support owed thus requiring my urgency to find his new employer. Kevin/KMS Investigations assured me the employment search could be done for $185 and complete court documents regarding the bankruptcy would be another $289. I gave him my credit card information on Nov. 29th for $507 and returned the retainer document and contract that day. The contract states that all info would be received in 7 days. After several messages and no returned calls I did get ahold of Kevin on Dec. 13th nearly two weeks later. He assured me that the bankruptcy documents were complete but that they were having problems with their outside company that was doing their employment checks and it would be a couple more days.
The following day I did receive from Krystal Rhoden (executive assistant) a fed ex that contained a very generic background report. Kevin indicated to me that this would be included free with my reports. The only info it contained regarding the bankruptcy was the date of filing and attorney name which I already knew and had discussed with Kevin. It contained NO other relevant info to my case.
Over the next several weeks, I left 29 documented phone messages. Kevin Sianez was never available. WHAT A SHOCK! My attorney has since sent 2 letters demanding a refund which have been ignored.
I have received NOTHING to date on the employment search and not what I requested or what their contracts state in regards to the bankruptcy filing.
PLEASE DO NOT do business with this company. He is a complete fraud! There are other reputable companies out there. I have since hired another firm and received my ex husband employer name and address in 48 hours. DO NOT get taken like I did. It is hard to believe that these kinds of people are out there but they are.
I will continue to inform people of their fraud. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and have since found out I can contact the licensing agency for private investigators in his state. I am also in the process of filing a claim in small claims court.
