In 2004 received a cout notice. I was being sued if I did not pay an old credit card bill. I have been paying the balance of $1350 for 4 years now at $50 a month ripoff

For a beginning balance of $1350 in 2004 at $50 a month. This should be paid off by now. Every time I inquire about the balance it seems I never get an answer. One month about 2 years ago they offered a settlement of $1000, I argured that this has to be paid off and I am not pay $1000. They said if I did not keep paying my monthly they would put a judgement against me. The man who handles my account is always very nasty to me. I did not even realize I was really being taken until I came on this site! Im furious. My payment is due today and I don't know what to do. Get a lawyer or demand to talk to someone in charge. Im screwed! Help
