I have been riped off by Singer, not once but twice with their expensive embrodery software. (NO RETURNS ON SOFTWARE) I have purchased all three software programs avayable through Singer, that diden't come with my sewing machine, The Singer Futura C-200. At a cost of over $400.00 for all three.

Only one of these works like abvertised, that is the HyperFont. This program turns any true type font in to embrodery stiches. This one works very well.
The Cross-Stich converts your file into a cross stich design to be embrober. This was claimed to convert photos into embrodery file. This loses alot of detail during conversion. Not much use files don't look good enough to embroder. Singer said to bad no returns on software.
The Photo-Stich was the worst of all! This Program claimes to turn photos into a embrodery design. It shows the original photo, then the photo-stich embrodery version. This is what I wanted all along. It looks great on the package, but you can't get the same results when you try your own photos. I have tried many photos at several different settings and haven't come up with anything that is usable. You can't tell what the orignal photo was, it is just all one big bloddy mess. Very upset I spent my money in good faith $149.00. That is alot of money to me, living on my Socal Security. If it would have worked like advertised I woulden't have minded the price. But to pay that much on something that is non-refundable and it dosen't work well enough to be usefull, is just one bug rip off!
I don't think it is right for a company to make a software program and make claimes that it works well, when it don't even come close to what they say. To bad for the little guy you are out the money and that is just how it is happy or not.
I am very disiponted with the Singer company for putting their name on this software product. I don't recomend anything from the Singer company anymore. Don't be takin in by this company let my mistakes save you money. I guess I could write a program and put it on CD and sell it, wheather it works or not, after all no refunds on software. Buyer be ware!
