I started recieving charges since August from this company on a credit card of mine. It's possible they started earlier, however, my statements only go back as far as August online.
I'm a US Veteran and have been told about stolen identity information due to a Veterans Affair worker having data stolen from their home with thousands upon thousands of US Veterans and their personal information.
This information could include anywhere from, name, address, social security, credit cards and email addresses. Which is more then enough to start transactions with this company.
I called this company to cancel these transactions in Jan. 2007 after looking up the company name online to get their phone number. They told me I started an account with them for $14.95 a month for lowered rates at their website on offers of various sorts as well as a $25 K Mart gift card.
I have no idea who this company is and I surely never recieved any gift card for K Mart or any other company. Either this company is a scam or someone is accessing this company with stolen information.
My total losses so far exceed $100 and I'll probably never see that money again, but atleast I canceled my account.
