For those people that know about how this company operates you will understand this pretty well. Cdg Mgmt has been doing 3rd party fundraing for police, fire, veterans and a host of other non-profit orginazations. They were known as PFR centers which stands for professional funf raisers.
Well they found yet another loop hole in the system and began opening up what they call PMC offices which stands for Professioanl Managment Consulting. This allows them to say that 100% of the donations they solicit go to the orginzation which is crap it allows them to say they area direct employee on which ever orginization they are calling for.
They can be misleading because they now can say we, us, and our which would make it sound like they are actual members of the specified orginization. The other difference this entales is that there is an actual member of the org. That spends 15 to 20 hours a week in the office to supposedly make sure the tsr represent the org. Properly when all they really do is sit n there office. They Have The Title Of Director Of Fundraisnf or The DOF.
Now I have been with cdg for 6 long years and have been done wrong and seen others done wrong as well but here is the deal.
To be an Accm or higher at a pmc you cant have a felony record, misdemeanors are ok just no felonies. Now I opened up their office in lakeland florida for the state troopers local 6000 and then my National trainer Matt Edelson offered me a transfer to open the Tallahasse office.
Now keep in mind a background check was done on me and all i had was some petty misdemeanors but again no felonies. I transferes to my new office and we had been dialing for 4 months before Our DOF decided he would enter the office. He immediately informs myself and the rest of managment that all employees including the tsrs were going to havea background check ran on them. Now this wasnt part of the application and John Beaman the DOF instructed the managers to inform all the reps that if they came back to work after there background check came back that if they had any felonies on there record that they would be arrested. I'm not sure what htey would be cahrged wuth but 95%of cdg has a crminal record so thisa was a shock to me and a lot of good people lost there jobs due to this man.
Now that Friday my off day my CCM calls me at home wanting me to come in but i could tell something was up so i refused to come in to talk and said we could talk over the phone.
To my surprise the Dof John Beaman found my misdemeanors in which I never hid or lied about after speaking with him I was told that if I came back on the premises I woild also be arrested.
I called Matt Edelson and informed him of the problem and he pretty much said tough sh*, I then went higher and contacted the CEO Of the compamy Mark Keezer and informed him and got the same reply.
I found it repulsive that I moved my family 3 times for this company I made them millions of dollars and didnt do anything wrong but they turned there back on me. How could a company that on there website talks about going the extra mile for there employees not even let me transfer to another office or even go to bat for me with the DOF. And Again the contract I signed for my transfer said that only felonies would exclude me from the job.
Bottom Line is if you work for these guys beware and if your in Tallahasse watch out for a prick cop named John Beaman who is a Tallahasse Police Officer because he is a dirty and low man.
As far as cdg's offices if they call you beware because its all a game of words that have been manipulted.
My only hope is that Karma will get my revenge one day.
