I am a parent of a teenager who had found school a very difficult experience until Linda C's outreach program to children at risk offered to sponsor Randolf on full scholarship.
Linda C has completely turned Randolf's world around for the better.
Enter Miles Williams Accountancy
Miles Williams Accountancy has publicly charged Linda C with fraudulent behavior and skulduggery. This evidently all started because of Mr. Williams disagreement with a study done by Temple University and the University of Wisconsin. (Mr. Williams has called the study racist. I purchased a copy of the study, chaired by Dr. Lawrence Steinburg, and found the study to be common sense, if a person will look at EITHER the intent of the study, or its message, something that Miles Williams Accountancy evidently refuses to do. The study took ten years and involved over 20,000 students, and just reports what they, the students said, in response to questionnaires. But that aside, why hasn't Mr. Williams contacted the universities rather than attack a school that just asked its students to READ the study. How can this be called skullduggery?
This charge of fraudulent behavior by Linda C, while on its surface ridiculous, nevertheless has hurt my son Randolf in that kids do bond with their schools, and are much more vulnerable to someone accusing their school than an adult would be.
Although Randolf continues to do well with Linda C, this "adult" and business, Miles Williams Accountancy, maintains a negative attitude, that somehow he rationlizes as exposing Linda Cfor the public good.
Well, from my standpoint, the attack on Linda C is both unfair and juvenile, not something an adult who doesn't require counseling would do.
I contacted Linda C about the charge Mr. Williams filed with the consumer complaints because of my concern for Randolf.
They referred me to the actual report on this site. I see that even a parent has volunteered to reimburse Mr. Williams for any loss that he might have incurred because of his disgreement with the Temple study, but, well, you can read his reponse on the Linda C site.
Let me join with Mr. Halliran in offering to reimburse Mr. Williams his tuition, $400 (even though in my view he doesn't deserve reimbursement because of the agreement he made with Randolf's school before starting to study for his credential.) I don't have much money, but I can cover this expense out of my savings.
The only condition I put on the money is that Mr. Williams stop hurting the kids through their school, Linda C.
That's twice now a parent has pledged reimbursement of Mr. Williams $400 tuition. I wonder how many more times that will happen before Miles Williams Accountancy does the right thing.
Miles Williams Accountancy evidently needs someone or something to hate in the name of race. That he chose my son't school to vent his anger is doubly sad for the kids.
