At the end of the 2005 school year, my son received a letter saying he was nominated, by one of his teachers, as being an outstanding student at his school, in Tampa, FL. The letter wanted my son to send a description of his self to be nominated for the book. I help my son fill out the description on-line and we received a form about two weeks later saying my son was accepted and to send in a picture and some money, if we wanted to buy a copy of the book or a plaque.
I mailed a $68.00 money order, on 6/15/06, for a copy of the book and as of today, 10/1/06, I still have not received the book yet. I have been checking their Who's Who website all summer for updates and the last time I went in on 9/17/06, the website said that the books would be mailed out at the end of the month. On this past Friday, 9/28/06, I checked the website again. Jsut to find out that the website no longer exist.
I know now that has been a shame from the beginning and I want to get the word out to others before they fall into the same trap.
