By the looks of it these guys are everywhere. From north america to south america to all over europe. I was just suckered in calgary alberta canada for $800 on sept 28th/06. After i heard almost the some story from someone at work i started to do research on this, and have found complaints from around the world dating back to 2003. These guys are good. If anyone see them again be carfull!
Something this organized, and thought out has to have back up plans. If you confront one of them alone you can be sure that there are more close by. I do not know if filing a police report will do much good, so what i am going to do is stake out some of the places that they have been spotted in calgary, If i see it happen again then i will call the police before i go and warn whome ever they are trying to sell to and try to distract mr italy untill the police get there. If anyone in calary is reading this, and thinks it is a good idea then respond! Maybe we can get organized ourself, and maybe just maybe we can catch the one in your area.
