My girlfriend worked for cleaning authority in spring texas (owned by douglas rowe the iii) for two weeks until she recieved her first check.
They did not pay what they told her they would pay per hour or for drive time between homes. Her first check was shorted about $100 dollars so she quit..
She recieved her second check today which they would only mail to her and her check after deductions, for working about 50 hours was $57.00
After taxes. They deducted for things she never recieved such as $32.00 and for a uniform (shirt) and other items.
They did not pay her for her full hours of work.in her last week she cleaned 25 homes with a gross to cleaning authority of about $3000.00 and she recieved 57 bucks also her cousin worked for them for two weeks until she recieved her first check and was treated worse when she called about being shorted and asked for the rest off her money she was owed the owner.
(mr. Douglas rowe the iii) told her she was a loser and called her a number of expletives. Also when they worked there and talked to other girls working there they found out some of the girls have criminal records and us drugs..
They do not perform background checks or drug screens (other girls were also treated the same) this place is a ripp off!!!
I notice they always have an add in the local paper my guess is he can get girls to come in for two weeks until they see their first check then they quit...
Its just a revolving door and my guess is that any girls that stay are there because they dont do background checks or drug screening and its one of the few jobs they can get.
