We received a voucher from Sweepstakes Clearinghouse for a "Panasonic" laptop computer. We ordered it for our daughter as she is self-employed and it would be a great help for her. It took us nearly 3 months to get it even after paying a total of $328.41 and sending the $400 voucher.
Upon receiving the laptop, found it to have Panasonic on it but it was big, heavy and outdated. It came with the offering of Windows 98 but after taking it to 2 computer specialists, unable to even download the internet on it. They told us it had been refurbished and the only thing it was good for was writing reports or letters.
Needless to say after spending so much time thinking we could get it internet ready for our daughter, the 30 days return policy is void.
For all we spent we could have had a brand new one, which was what we thought we were getting. We would like our money back so we can get our daughter a "ready for business computer".
They keep sending me sweepstakes vouchers but they promptly go into the garbage. My letter to them is to not only ask for my money back but to have them take me off of their mailing list.
