From what I could get out of the convoluted writing on the letter the company is "Specialists in handling prize Data". They use the term "Known Individual" a lot. I have no idea what that means. I'm known by lots of people. Apparently I am also known by scam listings as well. They request $20 for the completed paperwork which appears will assist in securing prize money, in this case $2,000, 000.00.
It is important to note that the wording they use is extremely hard to understand. They use capitalized words in the middle of sentences & underline various terms in order to make them appear more important.
I am very well read, but I had to read the letter several times, very carefully, until I finally found the part where they say: "... We carefully acquire and make available all necessary entrant directives for known sweepstakes cash, awards, and prizes which are then Reported privately by our Office to Known Individuals for participation in availabilities to Win. We are not a government agency and do not operate sweepstakes companies nor award prizes."
After searching the internet, NY business listings & the NY phone book I was not able to find any information about this company. There is no attached phone number or web addr. With the original mailing, just the return envelope with their address on it. I did, however, find it mentioned on this web site. The previous complaint, filed in indicates they have/had an address in Garland, Texas. Perhaps they moved? Well, regardless, BEWARE!!
