About 5 years ago, my grandfather gave me and my brother his shares in a "private" company. Anyways after 9/11 buisness all but disapeared, so we declared bankruptcy only to find out that Lease Finance Group LLC, transfered the debt for the lease on the building to are personal names. I lucked out and only got about 10K worth of debt from them, but my poor brother got over 50K.
Went through 2 credit companys to get it removed and Lease Finance Group keeps telling them that its a personal debt to us even though it was signed under the companies name and the lease in question was where the buisness was.
