International Academy Of Design And Technology
Ripoff

I was in the first Justice Technology class back in 2003 and this program was advertised as an Associates Degree program. However as many of you probably already know, the program wasn't certified by the Dept. Of Education so when I graduated all I got was a diploma. This program cost like $26,000. Now I didn't pay all that money to get a piece of paper that I can't even do shit with. We were told that after the Dept came in and approved the program we would get our degrees. Well I graduated in May and I still havent gotten anything. I was corresponding with the Department Chair, Steve Todoric for months asking when the Dept of Education was coming in to do the inspection. He kept telling me oh they're coming and that he'd keep me updated. The last time I emailed him was in October 05 and he said he couldn't comment on anything which probably means they are being sued.

Now maybe I got lucky because I did get a good job and part of the reason I got it was because of the career lady at the school. But i would still like to have my degree. I got Sallie Mae up my *, calling all the time wanting their money and I don't feel that I should have to pay them or AES for anything because I was ripped off. If I would have known this would happen I would have never went to this piece of shit school and therefore wouldn't have taken out all these loans. I got $19,000 just from Sallie Mae, most of which paid for my housing. If anyone else is with me on this one, please post something on here. I am trying to find out as much as I can about this situation by talking to the Department of Education, Division of Privately Licensed Schools and then trying to find a lawyer that will take this case. Don't let them get away with this!!
