We have had the nightmare of this mortgage company for 5 yars. We have tried in vain to get rid of them and their ridiculous interest rates. We never borrowed anything from them, they purchased our mortgage.
They rep people off, drag you to court, get you for attorneys fees, lie, cheat, steal, and make peoples lives miserable.
We filed a Chaper 13 almost 3 years ago. We havenot missed a payment since. Ironically the court has now paid what was owed from before, and all of a sudden I am being drug into court again. They claim I am 2 months behind in payments.
They raise our payments due to interest, escrow, the sun shinning, the moon not shinning, just what every the choose to and whenever they choose to with no notification to us what so ever. Of course they claim they sent us letters in one phone conversation, and before it is over they say they cannot send us letters because we are in bankruptcy.
For over 2 years they accepted what we paid, which is what they told us to pay in a phone conversation, but in reality it should have been about $25 to $30 a month more. Over 2 years this has now become $544.02 Not 2 months payments. They put the money into "suspense account" and then charge late charges, inspections fees what ever that is and pretty much do as they please. Of course there is never any correspondence because they cannot contact us, yet they claim we were notified.
If anyone out there knows how to get a class action law suit going let me know I am willing to do what ever we can to stop this piracy on the real estate business.
