To all... My name is Bob, President/Ceo of my small business company, M & W Management, Inc now in our 28th year in the property management business.
My personal story is very similar to literally 1000's of other AA clients who have been fruaded and scammed out of their hard earned money dealing with these scumbags. The tradgedy is that these clowns are still doing business today on a national scale.
I have personally talked with over 100 small business owners that would like nothing better than to see Randy Hicks, CEO and Ted Marriott, COO in prison for their multi-million dollar scamming operation. Before I get started PLEASE take not and read the report from LESLI who was a former employee of AA in a high profile position. She was fired because she wouldn't lie to clients anymore.
As for the other POSITIVE reports from small business individuals check their bank account and see how much money they got paid from AA to respond on this website. It's either that or Randy and Teddy responding on this website annonymously like they do all the time!
In April 0f 2005 I entered into a "contract agreement" with AA to attempt to sell my business and while there were no guarantees one statement by my "buisness analyst" was perfectly clear as witnessed by my certified CPA and that was under NO CIRCUMSTANCES would my $ 5000.00 fee collected by Alliance Acquisitions NOT be refunded. This was explained to me in detail very simply: 1. IF for any reason my business did NOT sell within the one year period AA would gladly refund my money OR 2.in the event that my business did sell the BUYER would pay for the "business analysis" at closing. Black and white. Slam Dunk?
I was also told by my business analyst that as a matter of fact there were several people that were interested in buying my business NOW and he asked me would I be willing to close within 30 days! Where did he get this information? Right from the corporate office, specifically from Randy Hicks (CEO).
I got my "bound business analysis" prepared by Business Evaluation Systems that looked impressive because a Philadelphia lawyer couldn't make heads or tails of it. How reputable is BES? Well they are in hiding, not answering e-mail or phone calls. Of course I wouldn't either if I were them because they only charge alliance $ 250.00 for this wonderful report. So where did the rest of my money go?
Just like Lesli said in her report, Randy's new $ 500K house, new boat, new corvette, Bahama vacations, new $6K deck, new $5K outdoor playset for the kiddies and the best bottles of Don Perionne champagne. He and Ted are laughing all the way to the bank with 1000s of clients & millions of dollars.
I got the "letter" Lesli talked about dated in March and sent certified mail in April. I responded and requested a refund the same day. After multiple e-mails and phone calls I finally got Randy Scumbag Hicks on the phone who basically told me sorry about your luck.
I have hired a private attorney to help my personal situation but that is only the tip of the iceberg. Trust me this website will be bombarded with information on AA in the next few days.
I would personally challenge the positive responders on this website about AA to PROVE to me that their dealings with AA were satisfactorily concluded with the sale of their business!
Let me tell you folks it will NEVER happen because they don't exist! Not ONE past or current client that I have talked with personally has anything good to say about AA. They have all been scammed, end of story. I don't know of a SINGLE business that AA sold successfully. Somebody prove me wrong... I DARE YOU!
I hope that your readers take my response as a sereious WARNING and don't even think about doing business with AA. This storyline is just beginning, there are a tom of local, state and federal agencies that are well aware of Alliance and are looking into the situation right now.
