I recived a letter claiming to have grant forms that i "requested"the pamplet not only contains a form but all thesse little adds for free money to do what you always dreamed of. Upon further inspection it has an application that looks real enough but you have to inclose $39.00 for a membership fee an additional "grantors gift" of 10,25, 50, or other amount.
Under this it states "all gifts are voluntary" all grantors will recive a certificate of kindness. This is a packet of several scams all promising all the cash you could ever spend. I tried to use the web site listed... No company exists...& the name. Nothing.
This company does not really exist. I finally traced the address and got a mailbox etc. And a notary public. So i called and there was a girl who answered and when i started asking about this company she quickly passed the phone to this guy and he stated that this was a real company and they had a mail box there but could not give me a real contact number and was starting to become annoyed with my questions about the grantors institue of america.
The reason i went to so much trouble isn't because i don't have anything better to do, i think it is horrible to prey on the stupid and desperate. I have had friends fall prey to this kinda crap. Scams effect everyone in someway the people that get taken for a ride not only loose money but also their dignity too. Thank you for your time. Maybe we can stop this if we work together and educate everyone we know about crap like this bombarding our mailboxes promising false hope and riches
