Blatantly Robbed ME Ripoff

On March 20th, I was downloading the Kazaa music website and was told that the membership was for 5 years, was not given a price until i fully registered but it was like $1.00 a month. After the download I proceeded to OPEN the site to start downloading.

A message came up on my screen and said this is a FREE website if you have been charged a fee contact the company for a complete refund NOW.

I checked my bank statement since I used a debit card and saw not only a $59.95 charge from this account but an additional $99.95 charge both to healthydiscountcard.

Their number 800-649-4065 was right next to the withdrawals so I contacted them. They said I download a site and that was the charge and along withthe download i recieved a subscription to healthydiscountcard, for $99.95 and it would be debit to my account monthly.

I told them I knew nothing of the subscription and I did not want it. I told them the download I did was a free site and that I was to contact any company that was charging me, and that this was them.

I was told they were now understanding that I didn't want either of these charges and asked for my debit card number so they could put the money back in my account.

A week later the money was still not refunded so I called them again. I was then told it would take 20-25 days. I said it took them all of five minutes to take it out... But i waited the time.

On April 10th I called again and was told that it was 20-25 BUSINESS days... So again I waited.

On April 21 I called again and was informed that the request was put in they were sorry for delay but they were having technical problems and to check back in a week or so but to check with my bank as well.

I emailed my bank and told them the problem I was having. They temporarily deposit the funds back in my account. Last week I got two letters from my bank asking for additional information.

Such as what was this companies policy on refunds, etc.
I have not answered those letters because there is no way to know what this company policy is for anything except ripping off decent people.

Prior to writing this letter I called Healthydiscountcard, again.
Was now informed that they are having technical difficulties and to call back in one to two weeks. I told the woman I was tired of calling and wanted the money they STOLE from me returned. She kept going on and on how they just take orders at this number and have nothing to do with refunds.

Said that my account, she had my name and all, had been flagged for a discount but she has no control over them, try in a week or two. I told her i was quite unhappy with the way they were handling this and that I was out over 150.00 dollars, with no authorization whatsoever. That this was definitely theft and that I would report them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was informed that there was no supervisors or managers there, to check with my bank in a week or two.

I read "RIP-OFF's article about going to the bank and raising hell and I will be doing that. Is there anywhere else that I can report this. Reading the articles from the others means someone somewhere is getting very rich and its not me.

The worst part is you can't even check out this company cause you know nothing about them till they rip you off. Not like you can check the BBB cause you don't even know that you are ripped off till you are.
