Hello to my fellow Americans. I too was contacted by a sweet young lady on March 22. She pitched a great sale told me that I was approved for a 2000.00 credit limit with only a 200.00 deposit that would be refunded to me in the forms of four vouchers. This sounded too good to be true which should have been a clue, I asked several times is this a credit card and she assured me that it was.
To my alarm when I recieved the terms and conditions in the mail I like you found out that this was a catalogue ordering card, needless to say they had already taken the 200.00 out of my checking account. Call the company immediately and tell them you want to close your account. Do not sign the terms and conditions form. Tell them you want your money back, they will give you an address to sent a written request for your refund in, they will most likely tell you that the lisitened to your recorded message and that they found no misleading information (which is crap because if they actually listened to the tape they would see that the entire conversation was fraud) but go ahead and write your letter, but at the same time take the following steps below.

So people, lets deal with these a— holes.
Here is what you need to do.
1. Go to your bank immediately and tell them there was an unauthorized transaction on your account, after all you thought your were getting a credit card. File an unauthorized ACH withdrawal form. And emphasize that you did not authorize this comapny to take money from your account.
2. File a complaint with the better business bureau their web site is www.bbb.com, they will contact the company and try to get you a refund if you do not get anywhere with the bank
3. If you still get no results go to your local court and file a small claims lawsuite
4. Contact the company management
a. President - savas arvanitakis
b. General manager - john buschel
c. Consumer refund dept - tom folgers
d. Steve gallippi
Be prepared to be persistent and aggressive because these people are ugly and speak to you like you are an idoit, They will most likely not put you through to the person you want to speak with the first time but keep calling
It will require some work but getting your money back is well worth it.

5. If you still are not able to get your money back contact you state attorney general
I have three very small kids and work 40 hours per week, if I had more time I would actively persue a class action law suite, if there is anyone with the added engery please do this so we can put an end to these theives
