Our family visited Canton, Texas the first weekend of March for the Canton Trade Days. We of course having a 6 year old daughter went to Dog Town. We already own a 2 year old chihuahua and our daughter wanted to find her a friend.
Dianne M. McInnes (The Animal House) was set up with several different breeds of puppies, one of which was a chocolate & tan chihuahua. Of course our little girl fell in love with the little one pound choclate drop and we decided to buy her. We don't normally spend quite the amount Dianne was asking but being assured that she was of good blood line and that papers were on the way, we bought and paid (including tax) for Gidget on the spot. Again, Dianne assured us that as soon as litter papers arrived she would mail us our set, she even had me write my own address on an envelope for mailing to ensure it was correct.
After two weeks passed I e-mailed her that I had not yet received any papers and asked if there was a problem. She did e-mail back with an answer of checking with AKC now, papers are on the way. That is the last time I had any contact. No papers, no return e-mails, no answered phone calls! Don't get me wrong. We love our little dog BUT we were led to believe that for the price we paid - she was registered/papered.
It is very annoying, sad, and irritating that there are such DISHONEST people in this world. I would hope that she is forced to cease her business and pay back all the families she has wronged and misled. They say what goes around comes around. We'll see.
I highly recommend not purchasing any dog from dianne mcinnes!
