As I was researching scholarship information on the internet, I had come across an advertising for inventor's to have a chance to make their idea considered for further review for marketing. The interested inquiry from me to their websight prompted mailings from them for me to make my dream come true, with information telling me to hurry up and to have the opportunity to be heard. They contacted me by mail 3 times until I decided to call them.
I was immmediately called back the next day by a Ted (Theodore) Leggens, Director of New Products. I was told that he was interested of my basic idea for invention and that his son (Maybe scripted) does the same hobby my invention was used for, which is oil painting "My son oil paints, he loves it and when I read your idea, I was interested..." Ted Leggens prompted me to provide a rough sketch of my idea to them for filing in which he assured me they would not steal the idea because "How can we still be in bussiness with dishonesty of any type." (come to find out they had many complaints from other individuals charging them with proposing thousands of dollars from them to make their invention and to market their invention to major companies for distribution (in which their agents do not know or visit companies, but send cheesy mailing leaflets to them for considered interest in their products in which cheesy advertising from no name major companies (such as Davison) get thrown out immediately - kind of like bussiness spam leaflets they charge thousands for instead of the personal agents talking one on one with a major chain distributer); The first payment being around 695$ by including your bank information on a form that was later mailed to me to start out the researching process to get the project underway - Heck, my invention would only cost around 100$ to make anyway, less without work hours-they charge 50 bucks an hour for project work-.
I was so excited about them wanting to contract my invention to a Ted Leggens, with him initially telling me with these catch-22 words "We work as a lawyer would work, based on contingency, you know what that means? YES, you will take the money based on 50$ dollars an hour, all combined and taken from the inventions success once you sell it? YES. With those words, I thought that I did'nt have to give them any type of monies;credit card, M.O. Etc.
I immediately put in work hours diagramming and explaining the selling points of my inventions in worded forms so they would not have to bother with the research because I had already did. I did all the work and faxed it to them, I shouldn't have. But I recieved a contract in the mail in which they and me signed declaring that they, employees of Davison can not steal my idea.
Eventually they lied about contingency and wanted me to pay them 695$ to get the project underway. Theodore "Call me Ted." Leggens said to at least pay 50$ for permission to start my project, didn't I already want them to start the contingency instead? A twist of demeanor, as if I smoked too much reefer to be able to forget contingency and confuse it with giving them money instead, duh.
They mailed me success stories, flashy printing, Theodore Leggen's bussiness card, etc. Well I did more researching, what got me was an old Better Bussiness Bureau giving them good ratings which were false as soon as I did more internet research about them. They told the other individuals that were posted in a lawyer websight that listed crooked invention companies, some that were sued, the very same thing they told me - 695$ first - then surprisingly once that payment was made according to individuals, they wanted 3000 - 20,000 dollars from them to cover agent costs and marketing costs, one person mortgaged their home and felt horrible later from what they did to them, Davison totally ruined an North American life in U.S. A, disgusting if you ask me.
I was very upset about what I read, which was too late because I had mailed everything about me invention to them; My blueprint, My marketing pluses and cons, My own testimonial of my invention for their agents to help sell my product for me thinking they would work with "Contingency, as with a lawyer would." I should have recorded Theodore Leggens voiced words, but I have everything I mailed to them as well as every paper, forms, Theodore Leggens bussiness card, everything for proof ever if they stole my idea and I traced it back to them for lawsuit purposes.
Well after I read those reports on Davison Inventegration I expected a call soon from Theodore "Call me Ted" Leggens, Director of New Products. He did call and was being all buddy buddy with me about stories of his mother and father dying to his family's BS, trying to act into my pocketbook. I told him I was broke and he told me to at least send them 50$ provided with my bank information on one of their forms, that I still have, being faxed to them to officially get my project underway -SCAM-TELEMARKETER - Theodore says to me " Make sure the fax number is right because anyone can steal money from my account if dialed the wrong number - what about them - am I that stupid.
I told him I'll try to get some money going because I'm in between jobs now. He told me to get at least 50$ first and he would call me back in two weeks for that. I knew what they were all about before that phone call by then and I straight out told him sternly "Ted that's what all this is about, right?" he was playing stupid and said "What is this all about?" and I said "Money, isn't Ted." He then just straight out lied, immediately saying then "My wife's on the other line I got to go." and immediately hung up, caught red handed. Well he still called back asking if I had gotten any money yet, nicely of course, and me trying to be calm saying I'm trying to get some money going, which was a lie because I didn't want him to get pissed off, therefore stealing my idea quicker before I found out what they were all about, in which I already knew. I did all the work for them to the very blueprint for my tool for oil painting and now I feel like a fool believing Theodore Leggens lies to me.
Well they mailed me a letter saying that if I do not respond to their offer they would close my file in two weeks: Close my file? Does that mean they could con me with contingency for my invention blueprints for more money from me and to twistly close and steal my invention even though they and me signed a contract stating that any employee of Davison could not steal my idea with no contract date, which would mean forever, I guess not or so? Anyways...
What if Theodore Leggens sells my idea to a non-employee of Davison and does an under the table deal? What if they sell my idea overseas as to hide his theft? What if the whole company is involved with hundreds of others they conned from ideas already.
Too many what if's and I want to sue for my signed artworks, diagrams, blueprints in which I could have done myself to other private companies in which I was deceived to have thought they would have done with Theodore Leggen's proposed " Contingency", He is a straight up liar and if you Theodore Leggen's reads this and has made money from me with your lie, call me up or I may just visit you personally of my research of where you live and of course where you work, I'll wait until your shift ends and talk to you man to man by your car or where you live, responsibly, because what you do is what has made this country a joke from in the first place, thievery for your families greed, literally. Only in USA. You will rip off the wrong person TED, and you will experience Karma. Your family may end up broke. What a good father you will be.
Davison and their employees use twisting lying words for the public to consume, so their pockets can get fat with all our monies. Straight up liars. I can't believe multi-million dollar companies are still doing that even though they are rich, pathetic, be as Bill Gates and help out the needy, not lying thieves.
Thank you for reading my account and I want to sue for my file back and I do have every document that was sent to me as I also scanned them to better insure the case if I ever found my product in the art market or major chain (because it is that perfect, so perfect that I would even buy one of my inventions for my full-time painting) and traced it back to Theodore Leggens, Director of New Products, at Davison Inventigration in Pittsburgh, PA. Please, anybody help me out. Remember, nothing is free. Be cautious Ted, I don't mean to be this way but you are working for an unethical company that still violates laws in your bussiness field as classified in a lawyer's websight aimed at crooked invention companies.
