IT Certification training NOT providing enough detail for Tests ripoff Berkeley California

This company has a lot to offer - but as far as certification training, they did not even come close to providing enough detail/training. This is the letter i wrote the saleswoman for Element K. It says it all, and in the end they of course denied me the right to a refund for a product that does not supply.

Letter—
The reason I am writing you is to tell you that the Element K training that you sold to me has NOT been nearly substantial enough to actually prepare me to pass the certification exams.

I am studying for Net and A exams. Currently I am taking real life practice tests through the popular test prep site www.measureup.com. It has truly angered and frustrated me that there are a substantial amount of practice test questions asked that I have not covered with Element K training. Mostly it's about detail.

Your online courses were surprisingly simple and superficial. I DID all of the offline activities possible, looked at all additional resource tabs, downloaded and printed most of the procedures files. To my dismay I am having to study from a book currently to make up for the detail not provided.

This is not because I am a poor learner, have a learning disability, or am not organized or dedicated. If the discrepancy between what measureup was testing me and what I learned from element K was minimal I wouldn't sweat it. However it is a very large discrepancy and I would like to reconcile this.

You should be aware that the main premise for my purchase was to seek training that provided ALL the information necessary to pass the respective certification exams. I was not interested in courses just to learn new material for general betterment of my skills. The Course states

This course is targeted toward an individual with basic end-user skills using Windows-based personal computers who wish to begin a career in information technology by becoming a personal computer service technician, or who wants to prepare to take the CompTIA A Operating Systems examination.

I am confident that this course did not supply what It said it would. I can certainly prove this if need be as I have been through the entire training. My guess is that you as a sales person may only know what the course description says about the course so I can understand why you assured me that there were courses in my purchase to help pass the Certification Exams. Forgive e if I am wrong, but in reality this has not held up. I would like to seek a refund for my purchase.

Simply: It's not what I paid for, which I can verify and I was very clear I was interested in only certification training.

I would be willing to pay for all the time I have used and pro rate me a refund for the months/days remaining. This is the most reasonable solution I can ask for.

I truly feel ripped off' (not necessarily consciously) and I will pursue this reconciliation by all means fair.
