Stamps.com is a ripoff, they lie to you and tell you that you are going to get free postage stamps for you first month, and that you are going to get a free scale, and all this other free crap that they promise you to start your process.in all actuality all they do is lie, lie, lie. They say they are going to send you a starter kit to explain the process, they never send you a starters, and they make sure they take a month to contact you at all, so that they can charge you a service fee, for a service that you are not even receiving, then when you try to get your money back they say they cant do it. To top it all off it turns out that everything they tell you, that you get free is all vouchers, you get a voucher to receive your scale, a voucher to receive stamps. It's awfully hard to get something free, when they dont send you anything! My suggestion is to go to the U. S Post office and set up your account with them, and get everything first hand, and talk to actual people. Another thing is I requested to cancel my subscription, and a refund, via email, the person who responded to my email after weeks tells me I am not entitled to a refund because they are well within their policy guidelines... Go figure... I never received a policy of any sort... Not even via email. Then they tell me I cant cancel via email, but they sure in the hell took my account information via email, to ensure they took my money out of my account. No security measures were taken then. Then I finally get a contact number for them, and I was on hold so long that my phone battery died, luckily for me I have several phones. There whole process is digusting, and left an awfull taste in my mouth, and I hope that my story will save the next person.
