Innovation In Sales I.I.S. - A-1 Locators
Innovation In Sales Or I.I.S. And A-1 Locators scamming me for $9,495.00 ripoff

Innovation In Sales and A-1 Locators A double Rip-Off

Innovation In Sales and A-1 Locators have taken me for over $9495.00. These two so-called company's will take your money and run!

I.I. S is one of those 3 person take your money and run operations that would like you to believe that they have a very large operation, when in fact they run this Rip-Off business out of there house in Las Vegas Nv. I answered an ad in a large Arizona paper for a distributor business.

Mr. Jay Adelstone contacted me and set up a meeting at a motel in Prescott Az. I met with Mr. Adelstone where he laid out four different options for a distributor business, distributing sunglasses, Ginsu knives, watches, and Posh coffee. The options ranged from Plan #1 $9995.00 with a location credit of $1000.00 for 10 locations, to Plan #4 $22,995.00 with a location credit of $4000.00 for 40 locations, I chose plan #1.

For this money I was to receive enough product and displays to stock 10 locations with each one of the products. And I was to keep the $1000.00 to hire a professional locator.

When I met with Mr. Adelstone I told him I am not a salesman and that I would have to have help with obtaining locations. Mr. Adelstone assured me that he could provide me with the names of good locators that would be able to secure hi volume locations for me and that I would have complete control over accepting or rejecting each location.

I asked him what kind of locations did these locators usually get for you. He told me usually grocery stores, convenience stores and other hi volume stores. Then I asked him if I decided to do this business how long would it take to get up and running. He told me as soon as I sent him the money they would send me the products immediately and give me the name of a good locator.

What actually happed. When they received my $500.00 deposit on 8/31/05 they sent me a letter saying, when they received the balance of $8,495.00 they would ship my products immediately. They received my balance on 9/02/05 and sent me another letter saying that I should start receiving my products in the next couple of weeks. I don't know what happened to immediately.

It was actually almost three weeks before I received all of the products. They only sent enough sunglasses and displays for three locations, the coffee displays were cheap straw baskets, and I had to change the information on the coffee tags with a pin. The watch displays were cheap little 12-inch by 10-inch Plexiglas flats with 12 watch holders that didn't fit all the watches, I had to modify them to fit. The knives came with no displays so you would have to get the location to give up shelf space.

My cost on the products and displays I received was less than $2,200.00. That leaves $6,795.00 blue sky. They claim that the blue sky is for there on going support, training and promotion program, but they over charge enough for the product in the first place to cover that.

The real problem is in securing locations. I was misled to believe that this rip-off company was going to help me retain good professional locators with my so called location credit, and in there paper work they claim part of the blue sky is for training and on going support. What a joke. They set me up with one rip-off locator after another.

After paying a $500.00 deposit and signing a contract with A-1 Locators the first locator called me and told me he should have 10 locations in a good area of Phoenix that I requested in a weeks time. After a week he called and told me that no body wanted any of this stuff. And from there on it was all down hill.

After about 2-months, 4 to 6 locators, and lots and lots of phone calls later, one locator said he had 10 locations for me. So I loaded the product up in my truck and headed to stock these locations.

What I found was neither good nor hi volume locations. What I found was that 2-did not want any thing to do with this stuff and 2-locations were in the same building, one had the front of the building falling off and wasn't going to have room for anything but beer anyway, and another one, the person in charge of the dress shop could not speak a word of English. (Who would go to a dress shop to by sunglasses or coffee?)

After going to these 6-locations that I would not dare visit after dark, I came to the conclusion that I was not going to get anywhere with this set of locations so I came home. The locator called me and wanted his $500.00 for these locations and I told him I was not going to accept any of these locations, even if he could get them to agree to take these products. He was not happy and even threatened to have his partner come to my house and throw bricks through my window.

Although this locator did not get any locations that would work, he is the only one out of, somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-to-14 that have contacted me that even tried in my opinion. If these so called professional locators cannot secure even 10-good locations much less 40-or more in a city like Phoenix, AZ., I don't know how this company expects any one to do this on their own. Which is what they are telling me now that they have my money.

As for the support that they claim to give you as part of the blue-sky money, this company has not one time, since receiving my payment in full ever initiated a single phone call to me to see how I'm doing or to see if I needed anything. The only time they will call me is when I call them to ask them to do something to help, and then it can take up to 7-days or more to return my calls. It has been over 6-months and I have not got any where with this business.

I have asked I.I.S. To let me return the product so they can give my money back, I have even told them that they could keep some of the money for there trouble. I have asked them several times to make some sort of deal with me. But now all this RIP-OFF company will tell me is that I'm on my own.

Mr. Adelstone will not call me at all he hides behind his wife and his friend. The last time I talked to them his friend told me over a speakerphone that they were not going to give me any money back. I'm sure Mr. Adelstone, and his wife, were also listing. As for A-1 Locators Mr. Stan Lewis is the guy that is A-1 Locators and I have a signed contract with him and he also will no longer return my calls or my money.

In my opinion, if Mr. Adelstone, and Mr. Lewis had nothing to hide they wouldn't mind talking to me, but it is obvious the way they hide behind mediators and there own family and friends that they are no different than the other greedy people that only care about themselves and the almighty dollar and no one else.

I will not rest until I have recouped all of my money and expenses from these rip-off's
