I don't know where to start. My husband was "referred" to Primerica by a past co-worker. He worked for a company that decided to close his department and he has been out of work for about 2 weeks now. This "friend" he worked with works part time for Primerica, of course keeping her day job for insurance and what not. Well, my husband had his group "interview" and was of course a potential candidate for the job. The "head" of the branch wanted to come to our home to meet with us, he said he wanted to "interview" me to make sure I would be okay with the job.
Well, several things made me leary of the interview. He stated how people don't care how much they pay for closing costs and points when they are re-financing—UH WHAT? He also made several comments about how his family members were against his taking this job, but he's proved them wrong and what do they know anyway, since they are poor! What kind of person does that? You claim to be a Christian, then you talk about people aren't worthy because they aren't rich?
There were several things that struck me during the "interview process". He also made several references about how he and the company owners were all christians, well, after some research, they are all Jewish! He, of course, wanted my spouse to come on board, but he would need to pay the $199.00 for his courses. My husband and I have college degrees and are a little smarter than Dave took us for.
We started doing a little investigating on our own and thank goodness we did. Everyone needs to check out the primericabuster.com website. It's a shame though, I'm sure they swindle quite a few young, naive individuals into their scheme. I would love to see them go down.
