Ripoff

I wanted to report that Primerica employment is a ripoff and I cant believe its allowed and that people are making money. Here is my experience

I have a friend that started working there she wanted me to come in for thier "Coporate Overview" so I did (keep in mind this place was about 1hr from my home and I reported there after a full day of work) I went to the overview where everyone was shaking hands and "trying to get to know you" So I sat through the Overview where all seemed well and I was excited.

Right away after that they set me up with an appt to come back for an "interview" the very next day, I now believe they try and get you to come back as fast as you can so you cant find out anything bad or corupt about Primerica. Keep in mind no paper work or information was given for take home reading

I went back the next day for an "interview" It was with the VP and the women whom I was friends with. The VP starts raddling off all this information which I had no clue what the actual job was. It was not a regualar interview it was more corporate BS about nothing. Guess what I got the job!!! I then was told to pay 199. Which included a background check and Life class. And told to come back in 2 days for my game plan.

Well the 2days came and I was really dreading go back after reading the scamming info on Primerica on the web. And not wanting to spend as much time as they wanted me to work for a part time job (I already work 40-50 hrs a week) I went back and was given information regarding "the orientation" and was told I need to fill out some information of who would be good people to work there and also to go do some financial something with (wanting me to sell stuff to my family) They also wanted me there every Monday night and Sat morning for 2 hrs and a confirence call Sunday night at 9pm

Well when I left I had no doubt in my mind that I didnt want to do this so I went home and my cc was not charged the 199. Yet so i reported it stolen. I still havent told my friend or the VP but I will not be returning.
