A written agreement among Mrs. Reddy, her sister and their mother transferred the mother's property to her two daughters. There was an oral agreement (made in the presence of an attorney) to have all proceeds from the sale of the property go to the elderly, Alzheimer's disease-diagnosed mother.
When it came time to sell the property, Mrs. Gail Reddy, wife of Dr. Medapati Reddy of Paramus, insisted on being paid 50% of the proceeds. Through legal negotiations, Mrs. Gail Reddy, wife of Dr. Medapati Reddy of Paramus, agreed to ONLY take 29.85% of the proceeds of the sale of the property. Some daughter, huh? Though the attorney explained it was legal, it was DEFINITELY IMMORAL!!
