This fraud and charlatan has done irreparable harm to many, my own family included. When certain individuals tried to stand up against him and fight against wrong, they were told that he should be forgiven and to simply trust him as a pastor. Holding the title "pastor" should not empower an individual to commit wrongful deeds with impunity, yet that is what Cornett wanted.
I have just learned that Cornett has lost the use of his "church" building and facilities, undoubtedly because he ran out of money and stories to tell the landlord. I feel great sorrow for those who were hurt by Cornett in the past, and equally great sadness for those who are now hurt as a result of his "surprise" loss of facilities.
To any and all who may read this: A word of caution. If Steve Cornett attempts to gain your trust, and especially your money, do not give it to him. His history repeats itself over and over again. The "Solid Rock" fiasco is not his first fraud, will it be his last?
