I made the mistake of joining POETS.com a few months ago. After a few weeks of being on the site, I realized what a scam it was. I cancelled my membership a few months ago and I thought I would check to see if my member ID and password and personal information was removed from the site.
My personal information such as location, still on there site. Password and user name still is available. I contacted poets.com yet again and told them to remove my information immediately. (i informed them i would be reporting the to usacomplaints.com) i have an e-mail from them stating my account was canceled. No former poems that i know of are still present, but why would the member id and city, state info be available if membership was cancelled.
Don't give your self a headache.
Stay away from Poets.com
It's a scam.
Buyer be ware.
