A few days ago i noticed a pending transaction on my online bank account for a company called AP9 Passport To Fun. I did not know what this was and called the 1-800 number listed.
I chose option #1 for Membership Fees. I found the wait for the next representative would be 15 minutes so I put my speaker phone and waited patiently. Finally a customer service rep came on the phone, I questioned the charges, I was informed it was a trial membership through VistaPrint. I informed her I did not want it and was assured the charges will drop off the pending bank deduction.
5 days before Christmas (5 days after the pending charge appeared and promised it would drop off and not go through) I review my Checking account online and find the credit/debit card charge infact did go through and posted.
These people need to be stopped and not allowed to make millions off unsuspecting customers. They are getting rich on this scam. How many are going to put time into getting $14.95 back. Most are going to end up writing it off. I personally am going forward and revealing this scam.
