More of same with Haldane. Had a first "interview" with "Senior Vice President" Mike Stone yesterday. Knew it was a scam going in, but thought I'd get some interview practice and have some fun. I can see how people who are unfamiliar with sales techniques can get sucked in—DON'T DO IT!!! This outfit won't help you, only help themselves to your money. Usual personal questions, pressure for spouse to attend second meeting, etc. Questionnaires were obvious and skewed—yes, I'm dissatified, looking for direction—the only possible outcome possible with the content & type of questions listed. Not-so-slick behavior from Mr. Stone. His non-verbal cues were obvious, and his cuing and leading words and behavior laughably transparent. "Do you feel the connection?" I've done behavioral analysis, and this was unsophisticated. Troubling—repeated questions asked about sex, as in "Do you discuss sex with a female friend?". Comments about my acceptance/rejection of homosexuality. I purposefully answered questions in a manner that should have resulted in him having serious doubts about my employability, using body language that clearly indicated I was lying. Guess what? Second interview was scheduled anyway! If they're so good, why won't they provide details of costs, and references to satisfied customers? If they're so professional, why do they ask questions that are intimately personal, disrespectful, and would be actionable in any other work situation? DebSt. Marys, Ohio
