I recently responded to an Ad in the Edmonton Journal from Bernard Haldane and Associates. I was quickly contacted and asked to forward a resume for their perusal and consideration. I was contacted and asked to come in for an initial interview.
I had the initial interview which appeared to go well. I was informed by the interviewer that I had an excellent track record and many positive marketable skills. A second interview was arranged, at which time I was to attend with my wife. I was advised that there would be a fee if I was accepted as a Haldane Client but the amount of the fee was never divulged. My wife felt it was strange that She would have to attend but she agreed to do so.
After arranging the second interview I did a search on "Bernard Haldane" on the internet and came up with many negative comments.
I have researched many topic on the internet and usually there are both positive and negative responses to topics. I was unable to find any positive comments. I therefore phoned Haldane's and left a voice mail advising to cancel my second interview.
Although I cannot say that I am a victim I credit the complaints for providing information and confirming my suspicions.
